Being a werewolf doesn't mean your an evil monster. It just means you can turn into a wolf or a human or occasionally some kind of strange wolf-human mix.
Types of werewolf:
1. Lunar- You have no control over when you change. It all depends on the moon's phase. When the moon waxes, you're human, when it wanes, your a wolf, and when it's full you turn into a wolf-ish human monster with amazing strength.
2. Biformal- You have total control over whether you are a wolf or a human. You have no middle form and no other powers. When you are human, you are a normal human and when you're wolf you are a normal wolf.
3. Triformal- Same as biformal, except that you get the freaky other form too. Your other form is not as strong as the lunar other form, but still, it packs a punch.
4. Canid- Not quite the same as a werewolf (but close enough), a canid is a human who has been gifted by the spirit of canines (or some such force) and can transform into a human, wolf, dog, coyote, and any other dog. Canids are very rare.
